The HP Pavilion dm3 is the newest addition to the Pavilion family of notebooks. At $549, it has an accessible price point and some decent specs too.
The Pavilion dm3 can be configured with either an AMD or Intel processor. Discrete GPUs are available for gaming and processing HD video. The notebook has a 13.3 inch LED display. It also features the HD BrightView technology which makes the display viewable in bright settings.
The Pavilion dm3 is made of lightweight aluminum and weighs just 4.2 pounds. It measures less than 1 inch in thickness, thanks to the absence of an optical drive. HP claims that the device will offer up to 10 hours of battery life.
